We are committed to reducing the ecological footprint of our products and operations by investing in recycling programs for our paper and production waste.

In addition to recycling the product used in our facilities and reducing our environmental footprint, we are also pursuing well-managed paper sourcing when making stock choices. This includes using stocks that have obtained Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certification.

Highlights of our other sustainable efforts last year include:

  • The recovery and recycling of 125 gallons of solvent from our facilities.
  • The installation of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) on our trucks to reduce the amount of air pollution we create with each delivery.
  • Partnership with FedEx — a champion of environmental sustainability in the logistics industry — for regular parcel deliveries and delivery of mail.
  • The use of LED lighting, which contains no toxic materials and is 100% recyclable, in our print facilities.

None of this would be possible without the two hallmarks of our direct mail process — a white paper workflow with data hygiene at its core.

Equipment like the Océ ProStream and the Epic Print Inserter reduce waste and inventory obsolescence, creating quicker manufacturing times while eliminating the need to manage an excess of pre-printed masters. Before paper ever enters production, our data science team curates and cleans lists, reducing the amount of undeliverable mail in every run.
