Over the next 10 years, postage rates will continue to see an increase due to the postmaster general’s “Delivering for America” plan. Darwill is a partner when it comes to helping clients navigate pricing and selecting marketing efforts that will both make an impact and be cost-effective.
With the next approved rate increase in effect on July 10, 2022, we wanted to remind you what you can expect moving forward.
After the increase takes effect in July 2022, the rate adjustments will continue twice a year in January and July for the next three years. Knowing this, we can help our customers prepare and plan in advance accordingly.
Some of the affected products that may impact our clients include both nonprofit and profit First-Class Mail (FCM), USPS Marketing Mail, Periodicals, Package Services, and Special Services.
If these are the products you currently use for your mailings, Darwill’s team will advise you on the best options for how to navigate the changes and what we recommend doing based on your goals and budget.

Commingling is the process where mailings from more than one company are combined to meet USPS discount minimums for the number of mailings to a particular neighborhood. Although the goal of this process is to save money, the 10-year plan will affect pricing in the following way:
